June 19, 10:00 AM -  Annual Vice President William A. Wheeler memorial gathering, Morningside Cemetery, Raymond St., Malone. Follow signs to Wheeler gravesite. Celebration of the life of William Wheeler presented by the Malone Lodge of Elks and the Franklin County Historical & Museum Society featuring wreath-laying, gun salute and brief biographical sketch. Short reception with refreshments to follow at the House of History, 51 Milwaukee Street, Malone. Free and open to the public.
June 23, 6:30 PM -  Civilian Conservation Corps Reunion at the Schryer Center for Historical & Genealogical Resesarch, Franklin County Historical & Museum Society (51 Milwaukee St., Malone). Celebration of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the CCC with alumni, family and friends sharing stores and pictures of the CCC camps. Author and historian Marty Podskoch will give a short presentation on the history and legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps camps in New York, with a focus on those in the North Country. July 13, 7:00 PM -  "America's Song: A History of American Musical Theater Through Word and Music," a program of toe-tapping songs and their history, presented by Ithaca College School of Music faculty member and North Country native Drew Benware. Co-sponsored by Paul Smiths College. Location: Bobcat Cafe, Joan Weill Student Center, Paul Smiths College. July 20, 10:00 AM -  3:00PM -  Walking tour of Malone's Queen Anne homes. Co-sponsored with Adirondack Architectural Heritage (AARCH), this tour will feature the architectural heritage of one of Malone's most grand residential neighborhoods. $40.00 ($30 for AARCH and FCHMS members). September 22, 4:00  PM - 7:00 PM -  Antiques Appraisal Event. Wonder what Great Aunt Tillie's antique vase is worth? Got a shelf of old books that you think may be valuable? Bring your family treasures to be appraised by Ted Comstock, former curator of the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake. $5.00 per object or 3 for $12.00. All proceeds will benefit FCHMS.
